Welcome to RHS Athletics!
We are so proud of our student athletes and their commitment to both sports and academics. At RHS, we believe that the physical, and mental development required for sports promotes discipline and honor. Sports teaches students how to be reliable teammates, resilient and resourceful athletes, responsible academics, and respectful young people who grow through failures and successes. We believe sports develops character, on and off the field. RHS currently supports 40 sports teams of multiple levels. Our excellent coaching staff and student athletes have taken us to League and CIF finals consistently every year, and have led us to many victories. RHS Athletic Director, Marc Harisay, has served as Rosemead's AD for over 18 years. In that time, Mr. Harisay's work with EMUHSD and our site team, has been instrumental in advancing the many upgrades to our athletic facilities, including our most recent brand new turf field and renovated track. Home side Panthers will see on our track, facing the stands, the line "In the Heart of Our Fair Valley," the first line of our alma mater. The line serves as a reminder that we are fortunate to live in the beautiful San Gabriel Valley in the City of Rosemead, and to see our students flourish at our worthy school, Rosemead High School. Rosemead High School welcomes Amanda Avalos, our very own Athletic Trainer. EMUHSD is embarking on a second year of staffing each school with an Athletic Trainer. Ms. Avalos comes to us from the University of LaVerne with an MS in Athletic Training and a BS in Kinesiology. We are very fortunate to have her working with our student athletes and coaches. Rosemead High School is proud of our Athletics program, our athletes, and our excellent coaches. We are also very proud of our parent community who tirelessly support our students and programs, and who model a caring school community. Thank you for your continued support. GO PANTHERS! Alma Mater In the Heart of our Fair Valley, Stands our Worthy School, Where Maroon and Gray mean Honor, School of Golden Rule. Raise your Voices, Wake the Echoes, Rosemead's Values tell. Hail to thee our Alma Mater, School we Love so well. PARENT INFORMATION
